Structural Engineering Solutions

i. Structural Engineering Design:

Structural design and Analysis for new projects. We implement our design with the aid of Computer aided techniques that form the basis of our design philosophy. We have adopted the widely acclaimed STAAD Pro Structural Analysis and design software as our principal design tool. We also prepare detailed structural drawings, working drawings and workshop specifications for prospective or existing structures.

ii. Structural Test and Assessment:

Structural assessment of existing buildings strength and structural soundness, for clients who wish to extend existing structures or wish to establish the soundness of existing ones. We use the Audiometer and the Destructive Hammer tests to establish the soundness of an existing structure. We also provide assessment of structural damage to structures, and development of innovative rehabilitation and renovation strategies.

iii. Conceptual Design and Planning:

Taking project briefs from clients and developing conceptual sketches for discussion and implementation. We also do feasibility and development studies of each project to determine project suitability and advise the client appropriately.

Project Management and Feasibility Studies

i. Construction Planning and Management:

Overall Planning and Scheduling of construction process, to ensure tight coordination and enhanced time and material efficiency to create financial savings for the client. Contractors are regularly monitored and assessed regularly on preset savings and achievement targets.

ii. Budget Development:

Preparation of detailed development budgets for projects. Forecasting all aspects from initiation to implementation

iii. Project Costing and Bill of Quantities:

Preparation of Bills of Quantities and Estimates for Civil Engineering works. Specifications as well as evaluation of tenders.

Environmental Impact Assessment

We develop Environmental Impact Assessment Reports for various Infrastructural Projects. We have professional consultants in our staff with wide experience in this now very critical field of Environmental impact assessment.

We also carry out periodic Environmental Audits of completed projects and have the capacity to provide innovative solutions and advice on the same.

We obtain Environmental Protection Agency permits for a wide range of engineering projects in Ghana .

Engineering Design and Drafting

We undertake professional, civil and structural designs to meet set requirements of functionality, safety, seruciability, esthetics and cost. We do analytical structural steel design, Reinforced concrete design, highway and transportation design, Drainage and irrigation design. We adopt professional computer tools such as STAAD PRO, PROKON, Architectural AutoDesk, AutoCAD MAP, AutoCAD law development and in-house developed Excel Spreadsheet to achieve excellent outputs. Our comprehensive working drawings are all produced with the AutoCAD software
